From a paddock on the edge of town to the roof above your head, Volt builds power where it is actually used. Volt Projects develops, constructs and operates community scale renewable energy assets in regional Australia, working with farmers, councils and communities on long term land partnerships.
The developer carries the weight. Planning approvals, grid connection, engineering, environmental reports and council conversations sit with Volt, not with the landowner.
One team from the first site visit to the thirtieth year of operation. No handoffs between developer, builder and operator.

Volt Solar Farms
Generation. Rows of panels at hip height, hedging around the edges, sheep grazing underneath. The land keeps working while it generates.
Volt Reserve
Storage. A battery does not make energy, it saves it. Reserve stores local rooftop solar and releases it back into the homes and businesses that need it when the grid stretches thin.

A second income that runs alongside the farm, paid quarterly and indexed annually.

Steady when the season is not. Independent of weather and commodity cycles.

A small footprint
A compact pad, screened by hedging. The vast majority of the land stays in production.

Fully reversible
Screw piles rather than concrete footings, so the ground is not permanently altered. Cabling is recovered and batteries are returned to the recycler.
From first call to operation.
Projects run between twelve months and four years from initial assessment to a constructed, operating asset. There is no obligation through to the option agreement.
Initial assessment. Land suitability check, grid proximity analysis and a first conversation. Volt responds within a week with an initial view.
Option agreement. Lease terms negotiated, independent legal review, option signed. Once binding it cannot be unilaterally cancelled, so independent advice is encouraged.
Planning and grid connection. Environmental assessment, planning consent, grid connection approval and community consultation.
Funding and construction. Project finance closed, site preparation, panels and battery storage installed.
Operation and income. Commissioning, a thirty year operating life, and regular lease payments throughout.
Three steps of engagement.
Every Volt Projects site is developed in close consultation with the landowner, the immediate neighbours and the wider community. The framework is the same on every project, large or small.
Engage early. Speak to stakeholders and neighbours before decisions are locked in.
Communicate clearly. Open communication through planning, construction and operations, including drop in sessions.
Respond transparently. Concerns answered directly, and contact maintained with the community for the operating life of the project.
Local jobs during construction and operation. Council partnership on projects aligned to local energy targets. The Reserve sits low on a compact pad, screened by hedging and almost invisible from the road.

First agreement executed
The first Development Services Agreement was executed in April 2026, for a 5MW and 20MWh utility scale battery.

Contracted work ahead
Development revenue contracted across the next 12 to 18 months, with the pipeline building behind it.

Five further projects
Contracts in place for five further sub 5MW development projects, on a non binding basis.

First retained asset
A first wholly owned 5MW and 20MWh battery project identified, with construction targeted for the third quarter of 2027.
